Zoom Zoom Phone Update

Zoom Phone release adds SMS billing changes, AI Companion enhancements, shared line support for Cisco phones, new Zapier and Zendesk integrations, fax improvements, and device firmware updates. It also fixes Call Queue reporting and CSV download issues.

• Advanced fax cover page management, branding controls, and template deployment improvements.
• PDF attachment support for SMS messages, with files under 1 MB.
• Dynamic call routing from Zoom Virtual Agent using metadata-driven decisions.
• New certified Yealink phone models and expansion module support.

• A2P SMS registration and messaging support for Japan was pulled from this release due to deployment issues and will be available in a later release.

• Existing customers on SMS metered plans or BYOC numbers are not impacted until their next contract cycle.
• Session Border Controller certificate expiration alerts are temporarily removed from notifications.
• Shared line support for Cisco devices must be enabled by Zoom.
• Several Poly and other desk phone models were issued end-of-life notices in the Zoom web portal.
• Devices will automatically reboot to install the listed firmware upgrades.
• Older Poly PVOS firmware versions 8.3.1.0614 and 9.2.0.15437 are deprecated on 2026-10-31.
• For SMS PDF attachments, files under 500 KB are recommended and the maximum size is under 1 MB.
