Google Workspace Update

Google Classroom now lets educators and students share Gemini Canvas artifacts directly to assignments and posts. The feature is available now for Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains and is controlled by admin settings and existing Drive sharing policies.

• Users can attach Gemini Canvas artifacts such as websites, quizzes, interactive games, and infographics directly to Google Classroom.
• A new Share to Classroom flow is available from Gemini Canvas for sharing to a class or assignment.

• Admins can manage the feature through a new Admin console setting.
• Sharing follows existing Drive sharing policies; if Drive content is shareable outside the organization, Gemini assets will be as well.
• Students and educators must be in a group or OU with Gemini turned on.
• There is no end user setting for this feature.
