Google Workspace Update

June 29, 2026: Educators and students can share Gemini Canvas artifacts directly to Google Classroom. The feature is available now for Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains and is governed by Admin console and Drive sharing policies.

• Share Gemini Canvas artifacts, including websites, quizzes, interactive games, and infographics, directly to Google Classroom assignments and posts.
• Use the new Share to Classroom flow from Gemini Canvas to attach content without exporting or linking files.

• Admins: The feature is ON by default and can be managed with a new Admin console setting.
• Sharing follows existing Drive sharing policies; if Drive content can be shared outside the organization, Gemini assets can be shared as well.
• Students and educators must be in a group or OU with Gemini set to On.
• End users have no separate setting; use Share > Share to Classroom and select the class or assignment.
