Google Workspace Update

Google Meet is now available on Android Auto, letting users join meetings and make or receive audio calls from a vehicle display. The feature is on by default for users with the Google Meet app installed on Android phones; Rapid Release is available now and Scheduled Release completes by 2026-06-26.

• Access Google Meet directly from the car's dashboard on Android Auto.
• Join upcoming meetings with a single tap from the vehicle display.
• Make and receive direct audio calls, with a History tab for quick redial.

• Admins: there is no admin control for this feature.
• End users: the feature is on by default for users with the Google Meet app installed on an Android phone.
• To use it, connect the phone to an Android Auto-compatible vehicle.
• When joining a meeting or call, the camera is off and incoming video is not shown; audio and microphone input are supported.
