Known Issues
- Windows installation may fail on systems using Turkish or other non-ASCII locales because of PostgreSQL 17 locale handling.
- Upgrade may fail if the remote PostgreSQL server is not configured with the recommended settings.
- Port 443 is required for Web UI operations and may block upgrade if already in use.
- Migration from Windows-based Veeam Backup & Replication to Veeam Software Appliance is not supported in 13.1.

- Upgrade from version 12.3.1 (build 12.3.1.1139) or later is supported in place; earlier versions require support assistance.
- Before upgrading, complete a configuration backup and ensure scheduled jobs, CDP policies, and active sessions are stopped.
- If using Veeam Backup for Microsoft Azure, existing Azure Restore Proxies must be removed and redeployed after upgrading to 13.1.
- If using Veeam Agents or enterprise plug-ins, verify minimum supported versions before upgrading the backup server.
- Download the latest ISO because it includes the latest cumulative patch.
