Shure Designer Update Version 6.9.0

Designer 6.9.0 adds MXA925 support, AI Denoiser and AI Deverb, and expanded MXA901-R controls. The release also resolves device association, overnight responsiveness, mute control, and room snapshot issues.

• Fixed an issue where a device did not reappear on the association page after returning online.
• Fixed an issue causing Designer to become unresponsive overnight without user interaction.
• Fixed an ineffective Mute button for APX4/8 and APXD2 devices configured to remain muted when USB is unplugged.
• Fixed an issue where room snapshots were not saved or shown in the Home screen's recent files section.

• Added MXA925 device support.
• Added MXA925 AI Denoiser and AI Deverb.
• Added MXA901-R lobe modes, direct outputs, automixer settings, adjustable coverage area, and Multi-array localization updates.

• Encryption indications may be incorrect in Online devices and rooms. Workaround: switch away from the Routing tab and then return to it.
• Moving an MXA920 MAL follower from an existing room to a new room may retain the previous room's MAL settings. Workaround: remove all MXA920 devices from the existing room before creating or deploying the new room.

• Update device firmware with Shure Update Utility before using Designer, and verify compatibility versions for connected devices.
• Supported platforms include 64-bit Windows 10 or 11 Professional/Enterprise and macOS Tahoe 26.1, Sequoia 15, or Sonoma 14.
• Only Intel and AMD x64 Windows systems are supported; ARM-based Windows platforms are not supported. An IPv4 Ethernet connection is required for application operation.
• Export Designer 4.7.x projects as .dprj files before importing and converting them to .rdf room design files. Designer 3.x project conversion is unsupported.
• Endpoint protection software may block installation; allowlist the Designer installer or application if necessary.
• Record device passphrases for future reference and select the appropriate network interface under File > Preferences for device discovery.
