OpenAI ChatGPT Update

ChatGPT Voice now supports GPT-5.6 or GPT-6 Astra for harder questions, with updated usage limits and deprecated Instant/Medium/High intelligence levels. Library sharing and Deep Research in ChatGPT Work and Codex are also added.

• ChatGPT Voice can use GPT-5.6 or GPT-6 Astra for search and reasoning, with model and reasoning-effort controls matching text chat.
• Library sharing lets users share files and folders, assign Viewer or Editor access, manage permissions, and use shared content in conversations.
• Deep Research is now available in ChatGPT Work and Codex, with citations and output options such as documents, presentations, spreadsheets, or Sites.

• Voice usage limits changed by plan: Go up to 3 hours with GPT-Live-1 mini, Plus up to 3 hours with GPT-Live-1, Pro $100/month up to 15 hours with GPT-Live-1, and Pro $200/month unlimited GPT-Live-1.
• Plus and Pro no longer switch to GPT-Live mini after reaching a Voice limit.
• Separate Instant/Medium/High Voice intelligence levels are deprecated.
• Shared folders: files uploaded to a shared folder belong to the folder owner, while the uploader is still recorded.
• If a user uploads a file to someone else’s shared folder and later loses folder access, the file remains in the folder but the user loses access.
