OpenAI ChatGPT Update

ChatGPT on the web adds Google Drive access in Library, letting users browse connected files, open Docs/Sheets/Slides beside chats, and work across folders. Computer History for macOS is also introduced as an optional feature for Pro, Business, and Enterprise users.

• Google Drive files and folders can now be browsed directly from Library, including items shared directly with you.
• Drive files can be inserted from the composer or with @mentions without re-uploading.
• Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides can stay open beside the conversation while ChatGPT summarizes, analyzes, compares, or creates content from them.
• Users can select a folder and ask ChatGPT to work across the files it contains.
• Where supported and authorized, ChatGPT can update the source file directly.
• Computer History for macOS lets ChatGPT and Codex reference selected activity from apps and websites to continue work with context.

• Shared Drives are not included yet.
• Some Google Drive editing and collaboration features are not yet available in ChatGPT.
• Computer History is not currently available in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland.

• Google Drive rollout applies to Plus, Pro, Enterprise, Edu, Healthcare, and Business users on the web in both the Chat and Work toggles.
• Computer History is off by default; users can pause it, choose included apps and sites, and inspect or delete timeline items.
• Business and Enterprise admins must grant access before members can opt in to Computer History.
• Computer History records interaction events only; it does not record screenshots, screen recordings, microphone input, or system audio.
• Computer History is available to Pro, Business, and Enterprise users.
