KB5085516 is an out-of-band cumulative update for Windows 11 25H2 and 24H2 (OS Builds 26200.8039 and 26100.8039). It fixes a Microsoft account sign-in issue after the March 10, 2026 update and includes servicing stack and AI component updates. Reference IDs: KB5079473, KB5085518, KB5083532.

• Fixed an issue where some users saw a “no Internet” error when signing in to apps with a Microsoft account, even with working Internet access.
• Updated the Windows servicing stack to improve the reliability of update installation.

• This OOB update is cumulative and includes previous security and non-security updates plus an additional fix.
• It is offered through Windows Update only for devices that already installed KB5079473, and is also available manually from the Microsoft Update Catalog.
• Devices with Get the latest updates as soon as they’re available enabled receive it automatically; otherwise install it via Settings > Windows Update > Download & install.
• For Hotpatch-enrolled devices, the issue is addressed via KB5085518 without requiring a restart.
• IT administrators using Microsoft Intune or Windows Autopatch should follow Microsoft guidance for expedited quality updates.
