• This known issue primarily affects enterprise or managed IT environments; Windows Home and Pro personal devices are unlikely to be affected.

• This update is offered through Windows Update only to devices that already installed KB5074109 or KB5077744, and it is also available from the Microsoft Update Catalog.
• For devices enrolled in Hotpatch, the issue is addressed via KB5078167 without requiring a restart.
• If the Windows Update setting 'Get the latest updates as soon as they're available' is enabled, the update is delivered automatically; otherwise install it manually from Settings > Windows Update.
