Google Gemini Update

Gemini in Google Slides can now generate full, multi-slide presentations from a single prompt, grounded in Drive content and styled from an existing deck. Launch is English-only, with promotional higher limits through at least Aug 1, 2026.

• Create a full, multi-slide presentation from a single prompt in the Slides side panel.
• Ground presentations in reference files from Google Drive and suggested files, emails, and chats.
• Use an existing deck as a style reference so the generated slides match the desired look and feel.
• Review and edit the presentation outline before the slides are created.
• Generated slides are fully editable after creation.

• No admin control is available for this feature.
• At launch, the feature is supported in English only.
• Through at least Aug 1, 2026, Workspace customers get promotional access to higher limits for creating multi-slide presentations using Gemini in Google Slides.
• Per-user usage limits will apply after the promotional period ends.
• Rapid Release and Scheduled Release domains: extended rollout started on June 29, 2026.
