Google Gemini Update

Gemini’s new Customize hub centralizes custom skills, prompt preferences, and connected apps. It is rolling out to Google Workspace, Google Workspace Individual, and personal Google Account users on the web and other supported platforms.

• The new Customize hub lets users configure custom skills and prompt preferences for repetitive tasks, tone and voice preservation, and specific response structures.
• Users can connect more than 40 external services and Google apps, with options to audit or disconnect permissions.

• The Customize menu is gradually rolling out globally on the Gemini web app, with feature visibility taking up to 15 days.
• Most connected apps are currently available in English in the United States; select apps are also available in other English-speaking regions, Brazil, and India.
• Administrators can review and manage connected apps and third-party Gemini integrations in Admin console under Apps > Additional Google services > Gemini.
• End users can open the left navigation menu in Gemini on the web and select Customize to add skills, explore apps, and manage connected services.
