Google Cloud Update Version 576.0.0 (2026-07-14)

Google Cloud SDK 576.0.0 (2026-07-14) adds new BigQuery, BigLake, Compute Engine, GKE, and Cloud Run command support, plus several GA promotions. It also fixes a Cloud Storage rsync behavior change and resolves CVE-2026-34182 in bundled Python.

• GKE Dataplane V2 clusters running version 1.35.1-gke.1516000 or later now use CNI version 1.1.0; downstream CNI plugins must be compatible.
• Customers using self-managed open-source Istio or unmanaged Cloud Service Mesh CNI must upgrade to CSM CNI version 1.23 to avoid NetworkPluginNotReady errors.
• Cloud Tasks is available in me-central1 and me-central2.
• Transfer Service no longer needs --s3-compatible-mode in gcloud transfer agents install; it is deprecated.
• Cloud Run public image import from GitHub Container Registry is now GA.
• Cloud Cloud CCaaS agents signed in during the update may need to sign out and sign back in for Knowledge Assist to work.
