Security

  • Google SecOps Security Tokens meter agentic consumption for generally available security agents; preview agents and assistive features do not consume tokens.
  • Advanced BigQuery Export adds VPC Service Controls (VPC-SC), Customer-Managed Encryption Keys (CMEK), Data Residency (DRZ), and Access Transparency delivery to Cloud Logging.
  • Looker release channels include an optional Accelerated Security Patching flag for the Regular channel.

Bug Fixes

  • Proofpoint Email Protection v8.0 updates backend scripts to support the new framework for Enrich Entities and Ping actions.
  • Advanced BigQuery Export now uses Fine-Grained DML merges to keep exported data deduplicated and updated in place.

New Features

  • BigQuery ML can now use pre-trained TimesFM models directly from Connected Sheets with AI.FORECAST and AI.DETECT_ANOMALIES.
  • Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform now supports up to seven pending Google model orders for the same model and region.
  • Google SecOps Advanced BigQuery Export now supports Entity Graph and Ingestion Metrics exports.
  • Google SecOps Advanced BigQuery Export adds enum mapping tables for translating numeric values to human-readable names.
  • Proofpoint Email Protection v8.0 adds Search Quarantined Emails, Delete Quarantined Email, Resubmit Quarantined Email, and Move Quarantined Email actions.
  • Looker (Google Cloud core) introduces release channels in preview: Rapid, Regular, and No channel.

Hints

  • Advanced BigQuery Export is in Public Preview, available only to Google SecOps Enterprise Plus customers, and must be enabled on request.
  • During the preview migration, data is exported to the new BigQuery tenant project in addition to the existing Google-managed BigQuery project.
