Update Summary

BigQuery autonomous embedding generation GA, Gemini Enterprise skills and Slack app enhancements, and Memorystore for Redis health issue support. Google Cloud Contact Center as a Service also received multiple fixes.

Update Details

Bug Fixes

  • Google Cloud Contact Center as a Service fixed multiple issues across CRM integrations, call handling, queue behavior, IVR surveys, recordings, transcripts, and agent workflows.
  • Fixed issues where Telnyx calls, forwarded voicemails, campaign completion, queue routing, and monitoring/whisper features behaved incorrectly.
  • Fixed CRM-specific issues for Kustomer, Salesforce, and Twilio integrations, including duplicate records, missing tickets, and unnecessary errors.

New Features

  • BigQuery now supports autonomous embedding generation on new or existing tables created or altered with CREATE TABLE or ALTER TABLE; embeddings are automatically maintained from a source column.
  • Cloud Billing adds a redesigned CUD dashboard in preview with a consolidated view of resource-based and spend-based commitments.
  • Gemini Enterprise now supports creating and managing skills in the web app, available as GA with allowlist.
  • Gemini Enterprise now offers a GA Slack app for direct messages, slash commands, and channel mentions.
  • Memory Bank and Sessions global and multi-regional endpoints are now GA in Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform.
  • Memorystore for Redis now supports GA health issues for expensive commands, high resource utilization, and missing maintenance policy.
  • Google SecOps and Google SecOps SIEM now support auto-collapsing the query editor after searches.

Hints

  • Gemini Enterprise skills require allowlist access and the Enable skills toggle to be turned on by an administrator.
  • Gemini Enterprise Slack integration must be configured by an administrator and can use data from all connected data stores.
  • CMEK cannot be used when Memory Bank or Sessions is configured with the global endpoint.
  • The redesigned CUD dashboard is available in the Billing section of the Google Cloud console.
  • Memorystore for Redis health issues can help identify performance problems and suggest an optimal maintenance window.
