Google Cloud Update

Google Kubernetes Engine adds Preview JobSet goodput metrics, and Knowledge Catalog data products are now Generally Available (GA). The release also introduces access-request workflows, automated documentation insights, service account support, and Preview remote MCP server access.

• GKE Preview metrics for JobSet efficiency: kubernetes.io/jobset/scheduling_goodput and kubernetes.io/jobset/proxy_runtime_goodput.
• JobSet monitoring dashboard now shows the new GKE goodput metrics.
• Knowledge Catalog data products are now Generally Available (GA).
• Approval workflows for data product consumption, including request tracking and approve/reject actions in Cloud Console or API.
• Automated documentation and insights using Knowledge Catalog data insights and Gemini.
• Service account support for access groups and access requests.
• Preview remote MCP server support for programmatic data product interaction from external IDEs and LLM clients.

• For GKE metrics, use Kubernetes metrics and the ML Goodput Measurement library for goodput guidance.
• Knowledge Catalog data products can be managed through Google Cloud Console or the API.
• Remote MCP server support is in Preview.
