Introducing Claude Tag brings delegated AI work to Slack for Claude Enterprise and Team customers in beta. Administrators can scope access by channel, connect tools and data, set spend limits, and migrate from the existing Claude in Slack app within 30 days.

• Direct messages to Claude are supported for private responses using personal tools and connectors.

• Claude Tag replaces the existing Claude in Slack app; administrators can opt in to migrate within 30 days.
• System administrators must pair Claude Tag with the Slack workspace, grant tool access, set monthly spend limits, and test it in a private channel.
• Claude Tag works with Opus 4.8.
• An introductory launch credit is available to eligible Enterprise and Team organizations.
