Veeam ONE 12.3 (12.3.0.4670) was released on 2024-12-03. It updates platform support, includes installation/runtime component changes, and documents known issues and upgrade guidance.

• IIS may disclose the web server type via Server: Microsoft-HTTPAPI/2.0 on some URL calls when port 2471 is used.
• Windows 11 with Smart App Control enabled may interfere with Veeam ONE installation and Reporting Service functionality.

• Syslog alarm details now use single quotes instead of double quotes to improve parsing by third-party tools.

• Windows 11 with Smart App Control can affect installation, Reporting Service functionality, and other Veeam ONE features; disabling Smart App Control is recommended.
• Email notifications sent from an alias using the new OAuth method show the user ID as the sender instead of the alias.
• Backup jobs scheduled to run continuously may not appear in Veeam ONE Jobs Calendar.
• Users with restricted permissions must re-log in to Veeam ONE Web Client after a new object is added to a container.
• ServiceNow ticket creation may be delayed by up to 40 minutes when many unresolved alarms exist.

• Release version 12.3.0.4670 is available for download starting 2024-12-03.
• For Veeam ONE Client upgrades from v10a to v12 or later, upgrade the client manually if the UI shows a lost connection message.
• Microsoft Report Viewer 2015 Runtime from earlier versions is not removed automatically during upgrade and can be removed manually if needed.
• SCVMM server and SCVMM console must be the same version and have the same updates installed.
• For production deployments, Veeam recommends Microsoft SQL Server Standard Edition or higher and SQL Server Reporting Services Standard Edition or higher.
• If using SQL Server Express for the Veeam ONE database, the database size is limited to 10 GB.
