QSC Q-SYS Designer Update Version v10.2.0

Version 10.2.0 was released February 24, 2026. It adds refreshed Peripheral Manager and Designer UI, new peripheral security and time settings, Q-SYS Connect planning support, and resolves numerous control, platform, and video issues.

• Peripheral Manager adds a dedicated Security page for supported peripherals, including sign-in and password policies, session timeout and concurrent session limits, and custom legal or security banners.
• Peripheral Manager now supports installing custom private key / certificate pairs from an internal Certificate Authority for supported peripherals.
• Lua TcpSocket:NewTls() now supports TLS certificate validation so scripts can verify server certificates against trusted CAs.

• Fixed multiple UCI and touchscreen issues, including hidden controls triggering through layered pages, wrong or missing page loads, frozen meters during touch-and-hold, and screen-off behavior on TSC-101-G3 and TSC-70-G3 devices.
• Fixed several Designer and scripting issues, including crashes during emulation, incorrect tab naming in Script Programmer Mode, default script access behavior, and component iteration in plug-ins.
• Fixed platform issues such as incorrect command button handling on paging stations, multicast address persistence for Atmos RX, malformed PTP Announce packets, stale session token counting, and an incorrect online LED color in Q-SYS Configurator.
• Fixed multiple video and camera issues, including USB video cropping, Secure Communication status reporting, USB-C bridging and DisplayPort Alt Mode problems on Dell Inspiron 16 5625, decoder audio output, stream hangs, and camera autofocus behavior.

• Refreshed Q-SYS Peripheral Manager interface aligned with Q-SYS Core Manager.
• Expanded Date & Time configuration for supported peripherals, including inherited NTP status and backup NTP server settings.
• Optional new Schematic Elements UI with search, category filtering, and improved plugin organization.
• Q-SYS Connect planning support is included in Inventory for version 10.2.
• Q-SYS Connect for Zoom Rooms enables TSC Series Gen 3 touchscreens as native controllers for Zoom Rooms and other UC platforms on Windows-based room computers.

• Windows 10.x is no longer supported by Q-SYS Designer Software.
• The new Schematic Elements UI can be enabled or disabled under File > Preferences > Enable the new Schematic Elements UI.
• Q-SYS Connect is included in Inventory in version 10.2, but full download availability and support will arrive in a future 10.2 hotfix.
• The MTR component is now discontinued; new designs should migrate to Q-SYS Connect for Microsoft Teams Rooms integration.
• The refreshed Peripheral Manager and new security/time features apply to supported peripherals excluding NL, NM, and QIO series.
