  • Platform: The issue causing certain web page URLs to bypass authentication and potentially expose secure endpoints has been resolved.
  • Platform: The issue causing NV-32-H devices to bypass licensing checks, allowing unlicensed units to operate as if licensed, has been resolved.
  • Platform: Resolved the issue where pen testing caused high CPU usage on the Core, leading to system lockups and unresponsiveness.

Bug Fixes

  • Numerous audio fixes for QIO, NL, NM, and related devices, including initialization failures, PTP/logging issues, clipping reporting, HTTPS access, redundant failover, and power-supply status reporting.
  • Multiple video fixes for NV-21-HU, NV-32-H, NC cameras, and Elo/USB-C workflows, including streaming errors, HDCP issues, USB bridging failures, frame drops, and power-delivery problems.
  • Multiple control and UCI fixes, including CSS styling, font rendering, layer behavior, camera preview rendering, script stability, and Designer crashes or freezes.
  • Platform stability and reliability fixes, including firmware update failures, memory leaks, runtime crashes, peripheral initialization issues, redundant streaming dropouts, and device reboot/hang conditions.
  • Management fixes for packet capture input handling, licensing-related access issues, and Reflect registration memory leaks.

New Features

  • Scripting Engine license is no longer required to deploy Scripting components to a Core.
  • UCI Deployment license is no longer required to deploy a design containing a UCI to a Core.
  • The Microsoft Teams Room UC Integration License is no longer required because bundled Scripting and UCI Deployment licenses are no longer needed.
  • Q-SYS Capacity Scaling License for Core Nano and Core 8 Flex now combines collaboration and commercial AV scaling, including DSP, 128x128 Q-LAN/AES67 channels, up to 24x24 Media Stream capacity, and up to 48 peripherals.
  • New product support for AcousticDesign ceiling mount speakers: AD-C8T-ZB, AD-C8T-SWZB, and AD-C10T-HPZB.
  • New NV-1-H-WE network video endpoint support.
  • Enhanced GPIO documentation section with improved readability.
  • Camera Status > Network now includes a Traffic Shaping toggle for NC cameras.

Hints

  • Before upgrading, review the Q-SYS Compatibility section to confirm product compatibility.
  • If downgrading from version 9.13.x to 9.9.x or earlier, first downgrade to 9.10.x, then proceed to the target version.
  • Version 9.13.1 is an LTS release.
  • Users can generate an EID containing free UCI Deployment and Scripting Engine licenses if they need to use a version earlier than v10.0.
