  • Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC): fixes COM object allowlisting behavior when endpoint security policy is stricter than the allowlisting policy.

  • File Explorer search reliability improved when searching across multiple drives or This PC.
  • Windows System Image Manager: improves trusted catalog file selection and adds a warning dialog to confirm trusted sources.
  • Servicing stack update KB5083532 improves update installation reliability.

Known Issues

  • Signing in with a Microsoft account might fail for Microsoft Teams Free and other apps; Microsoft Entra ID sign-ins are not affected.
  • Affected Microsoft account sign-ins may also impact Microsoft Edge, Excel, Word, and Microsoft 365 Copilot when Microsoft account authentication is required.
