Microsoft Teams Update Version April 2026

Microsoft Teams Desktop and web April 2026 adds meeting and chat improvements, including adjustable shared-content sizing, instant meeting notes, Quick views in chat, and automatic spoken language detection. It also improves transcript attribution for sign language interpreters and adds M365 Copilot call delegation.

• Drag the divider in meetings to resize shared content and the video gallery.
• The simplified app bar hides labels by default.
• Meeting notes are available for instant meetings started with Meet now.
• Quick views in chat let you filter by @mentions, followed threads, and more.
• Transcripts now attribute sign language contributions to the original participant.
• Teams automatically detects each speaker's spoken language in real time.
• M365 Copilot can answer incoming Teams calls and schedule follow-up appointments.
