  • Admins can manage browser policies via Pro Management Portal to help ensure a secure browsing experience on Teams Rooms touch boards.
  • New device settings in Teams Pro Management Portal replace PowerShell-based configuration for voice and face recognition, improving control over recognition status across rooms.

  • Support for Facilitator agent in scheduled Teams meetings, including AI-generated notes, agenda and time tracking, and web-based AI queries.
  • Support for certified Touch Consoles connected to touch board devices such as Surface Hub 3.
  • Browser support for touch boards using private browsing mode with Microsoft Edge on Teams Rooms on Windows.
  • Recognition of in-room participants on the meeting roster for Teams Rooms with Cloud IntelliFrame.
  • Multiple camera views shown in the preview video and camera settings dialog.
  • Support for multiple camera views and IntelliFrame in Teams webinar and structured meetings with Manage what attendees see enabled.
  • Front-of-room view control for town hall and webinar, allowing room users to switch between attendee and presenter views.

Known Issues

  • Surface Hub 3 devices with older firmware do not support rotation when running Windows 11 24H2.

Hints

  • Voice and face recognition requires the organization to enable recognition, in-room participants to enroll with a recognition profile in Teams, and a scheduled meeting that lists the participant on the invite.
  • Surface SMC firmware version 3.142.20.0 restores rotation support on Surface Hub 3 running Windows 11 24H2.
  • Browser policies for touch boards can be managed through the Pro Management Portal.
