March 10, 2026 updates expand Microsoft 365 Copilot and app capabilities across Copilot Chat, Edge, Excel, PowerPoint, and connectors. • Microsoft Edge PDF reader adds Summarize and Explain Copilot actions.
• Users can ask Copilot directly from the Microsoft Edge address bar.
• Copilot can connect to Shortcut project data through a Copilot connector.
• Copilot can connect to Amazon S3 document repositories through a Copilot connector.
• Excel adds Edit with Copilot for chat-based workbook creation and modification.

• Admins can enable AI-powered skill inferencing in the Microsoft 365 admin center under People Skills settings.
• The skill inferencing control is available to tenants with Copilot licenses.
