Update Summary

CollabOS 2.0 (2.0.80) adds Google Meet on ChromeOS certification for Sight with ChromeOS M138-16295.54.32. It also improves dual-Sight updates, peripheral visibility, and RightSight 2 behavior, with several camera and status-indicator fixes.

Update Details

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a false orange status indicator for Sight in LNA > Peripherals > Sight when no device issue existed.
  • Fixed an issue where the first Sight in a dual-Sight deployment could duplicate people seen by the second Sight.
  • Fixed camera image flicker or pulsing in certain lighting conditions, especially with fluorescent lights using low-frequency ballasts.
  • Fixed an issue where Sight could occasionally stop functioning and turn its LED orange.

New Features

  • Sight is now certified for Google Meet on ChromeOS.
  • Smart Switching is now enabled by default when a Sight or dual Sights are used with a Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini.

Known Issues

  • Dual Sight support is not yet available for Google Meet on ChromeOS.

Hints

  • With ChromeOS release M138-16295.54.32, Sight gains full Google Meet on ChromeOS certification for supported room configurations.
  • The second Sight unit in a daisy-chain setup now updates directly from a Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini when those devices are in Android Mode.
  • Sight peripheral information in CollabOS Settings > Peripherals now includes the Sight serial number.
