Security

  • Compute Engine addressed CVE-2025-10263, a vulnerability involving bypass of translation stages or GPT protections in some Arm core families.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed gcloud ai endpoints deploy-model to honor --machine-type for Gemini on GDC connected deployments.
  • Updated the Java SDK to version 5.0.3 and fixed an issue from the App Engine Java Standard project.
  • Added validation to enforce required sub-fields for App Lifecycle Manager release, unit-kind, and unit-operation commands.
  • Made --group-key optional for gcloud access-context-manager cloud-bindings create.
  • Removed deprecated Extended Attributes parameters from Cloud IAM; Extended Attributes are now restricted.
  • Updated import and export schemas for gcloud service-extensions authz-extensions.
  • Fixed several Google Cloud Contact Center as a Service SDK issues, including Android form callback handling, chat ordering, session restart, and timeout message customization.
  • Various bug fixes and minor product enhancements in Gemini.

  • Added gcloud beta workstations update to update workstation properties such as persistent directory disk size.
  • Added support for updating Slurm prolog, epilog, task prolog, and task epilog scripts in Cluster Director.
  • Added EXTERNAL_PASSTHROUGH to --load-balancing-scheme for Compute Engine forwarding rules and backend services in beta.
  • Promoted --ip_addresses for Compute Engine forwarding rules to beta.
  • Added folder share support to gcloud compute reservations update.
  • Promoted --ncc-gateway to GA.

  • Added NVIDIA_RTX6000 to Workbench accelerator type choices.
  • Gemini Enterprise now supports sharing agents with Google Groups.
  • Anthropic's Claude Fable 5 is available in Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform Model Garden.
  • Google Cloud NetApp Volumes ONTAP-mode backups are now GA.
  • Google Cloud NetApp Volumes remote MCP server is now GA.
  • NCC Gateway is now GA.
  • Google SecOps and Google SecOps SIEM now show whether UDM fields are enriched or unenriched.

Known Issues

  • Cloud Service Mesh 1.29.4-asm.0 does not support several environment variables, labels, annotations, ProxyConfig options, and proxyless gRPC settings listed in the release note.
  • In-cluster Cloud Service Mesh 1.26 is no longer supported.

  • Cloud Service Mesh 1.29.4-asm.0 includes Istio 1.29.4 features subject to supported-feature limitations and uses Envoy v1.37.4-dev.
