Apple macOS Tahoe (26) Update Version macOS Tahoe 26.5

macOS Tahoe 26.5 release notes for the macOS 26.5 SDK and Xcode 26.5. It adds new StoreKit subscription pricing APIs, fixes receipt and entitlement issues, and notes a StoreKit Testing limitation.

• Fixed an issue where the App Version field in the ASN.1 app receipt might contain null instead of the expected version number.

• Added the PricingTerms model on SubscriptionInfo.pricingTerms to read subscription pricing information for monthly plans with a 12-month commitment.
• Added the billingPlanType PurchaseOption to specify the billing plan type for monthly plans with a 12-month commitment.
• Added the CommitmentInfo data model on Transaction and SubscriptionRenewalInfo to read customer entitlement metadata for monthly billing plans.
• Added preferredSubscriptionPricingTerms(_:) to merchandise monthly billing plan configurations with built-in StoreKit and SwiftUI styles.

• StoreKit Testing in Xcode cannot observe changes made to subscription prices.

• Update apps to use the new features and test against API changes.
• The macOS 26.5 SDK is bundled with Xcode 26.5, available from the Mac App Store.
